The following expressions of thanks came from Americans who just wanted, in their own way, to express their deep appreciation for every American military veteran's service to our beloved USA.

The following message of thanks is from the Haggerty Family:Dear Veteran:
Thank you for Service to your Country. Everything I am and everything I ever hope to be I owe to you, the Veteran,
the individual who offered your life for my freedoms, my opportunities and very way of life. There is no way that we
can ever begin to repay you for your hardships and sacrifices. This is the best that we can do.
Please take a look at the children in the picture. In a way they are your children as much as mine, for their Mother
and I gave them life, you gave them liberty, and for that I am profoundly grateful.
Yours sincerely,
Hugh

The poem below is from Terri Alderson: OUR HEROS
For the Armed Forces
My heart bleeds for you.
All should be praised
For the risks that you do.
To give us freedom
Sacrifices must be made.
To volunteer this job
Knowing your life may be lost.
In today’s world we don’t know what that cost.
So much blood, So much pain.
I wish I could take it all away.
To die for your country is the ultimate price.
I cry for each and every one of you at night.
Your names I do not know,
But I will pray for your soul.
Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine
Special Forces and those Special Teams.
I thank you all for if not for you,
We would not be the RED WHITE and BLUE.
I see strength and courage in the families of these Heroes.
For all they go through too.
You’re as brave as the loved ones you hold true.
God Bless you all!

The next message is from L. Richmann:To Our Veterans
First I would like to thank all veterans of all wars for all the sacrifices you have and had made for our country. But what has always weighed heavily on my mind was the veterans of the Vietnam war. I was fairly young and this war didn't affect me so it didn't matter then. Now is different. Of what I've heard from some and read and vaguely remember, you were treated so horrible when you came home. No ticker tape parade, no hero status, no recognition for what you endured. For that I am sorry. Your country has sorely mistreated you, didn't help you then, and less now. God Bless you all.

Please continue to send your expressions of appreciation to our beloved veterans. I will do the best I can to post them in a timely manner! Thank you very, very much. Susan
